СЕЗОН АКТИВНОСТІ ПЛАЗУНІВ: ПРАВИЛА ПЕРШОЇ ДОПОМОГИ ПРИ УКУСІ ЗМІЇ
В Україні з літньою порою розпочався період активності плазунів та так званий сезон зміїних укусів. Станом на 30 червня 2023 року було зареєстровано 23 звернення по медичну допомогу через ураження зміїною отрутою, що порівняно з 2022 та 2021 роками на 17 більше та на 7 звернень менше відповідно. Серед постраждалих 7 дітей до 17 років. Звернення зареєстровані у Львівській області –11 випадків, Дніпропетровській – 3 випадки, Закарпатській і Полтавській – по 2 випадки; по 1 випадку зареєстровано у Житомирській, Київській та Чернівецькій областях.
Змії ведуть активний спосіб життя тільки в теплий період року – з перших чисел квітня і до глибокої осені, зимою впадають в сплячку. Місцями проживання змій є узлісся, лісові галявини, лісосмуги, порослі чагарником яри і балки, степові схили з чагарниками. У сонячний день плазуни полюбляє вигріватися на стежці, на пнях.
Зі змією можна зустрітися навіть під час роботи на присадибній ділянці або на подвір'ї домогосподарств. Змії часто з'являються там, де є побутове сміття, звалище будівельних чи інших матеріалів. При зустрічі з плазуном варто пам'ятати, що змія ніколи не нападає на людину першою і кусається тільки захищаючись!
Як уберегтися від укусів змії, коли плануєте відвідати місцевість, де потенційно можуть бути плазуни
не наближайтеся, якщо побачили змію, не робіть різких рухів та почекайте, поки вона відповзе. Не намагайтеся зловити чи вбити змію.
перевіряйте місця відпочинку. Перш ніж сісти на траву, камінь, хмиз або колоду, пошарудить чи постукайте ціпком, палицею тощо, аби налякати змію.
одягайтеся відповідно. Якщо вирушаєте до місцевості, де можуть жити змії, обирайте одяг, який захистить від укусів: високі черевики та довгі штани із цупкої тканини, котрі слід заправити у черевики.
не торкайтеся руками неперевірених об'єктів. Змії часто ховаються у старих пнях, копицях сіна, під камінням чи поваленими стовбурами дерев. Тому цих об'єктів краще не торкати руками, а користуватися палицею.
Що робити якщо вкусила змія
Якомога швидше звернутись до лікарні або іншого медичного пункту! Адже укуси небезпечні саме ускладненнями, що можуть після них виникнути.
Якщо до лікарні далеко та займає багато часу, слід надати домедичну допомогу постраждалому самостійно:
перемістіть людину у зручне положення, забезпечте їй мінімум рухів.
звільніть місце укусу від взуття, одягу чи прикрас.
під час транспортування бажано зафіксувати кінцівку у піднесеному положенні за допомогою шини або підручних засобів.
місце укусу потрібно обробити антисептичним розчином та накласти пов'язку, що злегка здавлює кінцівку.
Чого НЕ слід робити
висмоктувати отруту, бо це може спровокувати алергічну реакцію та набряк верхніх дихальних шляхів;
накладати джгут;
припікати рану;
вживати алкоголь.
